I am Adopted and Loved.

Ephesians 1:5 (NLT)
“God decided in advance to adopt us into His own family by bringing us to Himself through Jesus Christ. This is what He wanted to do, and it gave Him great pleasure.”

Do you understand how personal adoption is?

In biological birth, you don’t get to choose your child. But in adoption, you can look through a child’s file and decide whether you want that child to become part of your family.

With biological parents, it’s sometimes possible to doubt their love for you. But with good adoptive parents, it's harder to doubt, because they chose you.

Oh, what joy to be chosen by God.

Oh, what joy to be seen, known, and loved by an all-powerful Being.

Oh, what joy to call God: Daddy. Abba. Father.

Romans 8:14–17 (NLT)

“For all who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God.
So you have not received a spirit that makes you fearful slaves. Instead, you received God’s Spirit when he adopted you as his own children. Now we call him, ‘Abba, Father.’
